Beach Head 2017 is a first-person shooter (FPS) that lets you battle your way through dangerous missions with a wide variety of weapons at your disposal. This game might not have the most advanced graphics, but it is a great title for its price. You will single-handedly fight off hordes of enemies with everything from targeted missile strikes to 50mm cannons. Here is a quick look at just a few of the features that set this game apart from all other FPS titles.

This game is the sequel to Beach Head 2000, and it has all of the features that players have come to expect out of the series. Instead of running around a battlefield, you are dropped into a small emplacement just before the start of each match. Once the match starts, you must fight off enemies as they advance toward you. You lose the match if an enemy makes it all the way to your position or you are hit with any type of projectile.

At the start of the game, you can choose between a few basic weapons including a pistol, rifle, and machine gun. During the first few matches, you are going to take on relatively simple opponents who mindlessly charge your position. After you have beaten the first set of levels, however, the game becomes much harder. Your enemies will swarm you from multiple directions with an array of deadly weapons. Luckily, you can upgrade your weapons as well.

One of the best features of this game is the long list of weapons that you can choose from. Even though you start off with nothing more than basic infantry weapons, you can quickly swap those out for missile launchers, anti-air cannons, flamethrowers, and combat vehicles. As you earn more points in a match, you can even call in airstrikes from iconic helicopters and combat planes.

The design team at STMEDIA has also added a long list of environmental effects to this game. In addition to the enemies becoming more difficult, you will also have to contend with nighttime raids, blinding sandstorms, and heavy rainstorms. You can mitigate those conditions with many different items including flares, spotlights, and goggles.

Beach Head 2017 is a simple FPS with a few unique features and some interesting mechanics. Some of the levels feel repetitive, but the overall gameplay is interesting. For its price, Beach Head 2017 is a worthwhile download.
